Hybrid resin is the composite material
made by mixing the filler such as silica, zircon and so on into the resin (the
durable plastic). It is mostly used for crowns and inlays.
It is more shatter proof than ceramic, yet not too hard, which is an advantage
when it comes to reduced damage or abrasive trouble to the teeth surrounded by
the hybrid resin crown.
